By creating an account or using the API/MCP endpoints you agree to these terms. If you use ReadmeDB for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that org.
We provide hosted storage and APIs for markdown files, namespaces/projects, fact memories, and related tooling (dashboard, CLI, MCP). Free and Pro plans have different quotas (files, storage, keys). Features may change as we iterate.
Keep API keys secret. Do not upload illegal content, malware, or others' personal data without a lawful basis. Do not abuse rate limits, probe other users' namespaces, or attempt to bypass billing/quotas. You are responsible for content your agents write with your keys.
Authentication is via Clerk. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime from billing/portal flows we provide; access continues through the paid period unless stated otherwise. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create security risk.
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Back up critical files. Soft-delete and versioning features are best-effort product features, not a formal SLA unless separately agreed.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss from agent misuse or outages. Our aggregate liability for paid plans is limited to fees you paid in the prior 3 months.
